Hi, my GIRLS, Happy March!! Looking at the question the first thing or song that comes to mind is......Wade in the water 🎶 🎵 sing it with me WADE IN THE WATER CHILDREN but wading is a real thing!!
So one day God & I were conversing & I told God, LORD I JUST WAITING ON YOU! You know that's our favorite line when we know God is calling us to do more but we refuse to do our part! So then God asked me are waiting on me or are you wading on me!
Now before we move on let's identify what wading & waiting is, WADING is walking with EFFORT through water or other liquid form. Waiting is the action of staying where one is. Therefore wading takes movement however waiting takes nothing at all & you're stagnant.
So again I ask are you wading or waiting?
When God is ready to elevate you he places you in the most uncomfortable season of your life but he does that to see if you're going to sit there WAITING or are you going to WADE through to manifest his promises. Understand wading is strategic, it takes resilience, & faith.
My girl you got to understand that in wading you must watch your stride, balance yourself, & stay focused!! Understanding that a person’s steps are directed by the Lord (Proverbs 20:24). So let's breakup with this empty waiting season & let's truly wade to his promises.
Tactics to Wading
First we must be STRATEGIC & in doing so we must mediate, cultivate, & listen as God gives instructions. Most of time we do two out of three but miss the part about listening, at least I know I did because I wanted to do it my way. After repeating the cycle fifty times I pretty much figured out that it was my listening skills & disobedience that had me doomed. So now I give God room for instructions so I can carry out his will for my life thoroughly knowing that God's plans are not my plan & his thoughts are not my thoughts (Isaiah 55:8)!
Second we must be RESILENT in wading!! We'll Karla how do I be resilent when life is lifeing? I'm glad you ask! You are resilent by understanding his covenant to you about not leaving nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8) & understand that all thing work out for the good of them that loves God who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). So keep wading my girl he got you & he don't play about you!!!
Lastly RESILIENCE & FAITH God hand and hand! They are like the heart and kidneys you got to have both to live!! Resilence is your Jumpstart but your faith carry you through your wading season! Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1). Standing on God promises knowing that he is not a man that he should lie & his love that he has for you.
Ok now that we have our tactics of wading let's not be stagnant & procrastinate but let's wade into God's promises for our lives. Let's be vigilant in our wading season knowing that God want us to succeed!
Conclusion
So once again my girl the question is......ARE WAITING or WADING on GOD because honestly he's waiting on you to WADE IN THE WATER LOL
A Prayer for Your Wading Season
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being a God of strategy, endurance, & unconditional love . For know that in you all things are possible so we ask that you make our wading season resourceful & productive. Give us thorough strategy & let us be listen & be obedient to your will for our lives. God rid all distractions that may try to come to keep us stagnant & stuck. LORD LET US WADE INTO YOUR PROMISES. Lord wwe loves you & we declaring it already done! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Wow! What a way to make me sit down and reflect on Waiting and Wading. The first thing that came to mind was the song , Wafe in the water when Aunt Viv sang it on Fresh Prince. I have this blog three times and couldn't honestly respond. So here's my attempt:
1. What’s got me in a waiting place?
Fear.
Not the loud kind, but the whisper that says, “What if you fail?”
The kind that wraps its arms around my feet and says, “Stay still, wait here.”
It’s not that I don’t trust God…
It’s that I’m afraid I’ll misstep, and miss Him.
So I pause… when I should press.
I freeze… when I should flow.
That fear?
So i thought that i was waiting on God to open doors for me to do what he had called me to do in all actuality. i had a bunch of excuses and was stagnant. When people would call, my response used to be let me pray about it, knowing good and well i wasn't. That was a way for me to get you out of my face. But i also limited myself because i felt that if my pastors weren't allowing me to do it at home where they could tell me what i was doing right or wrong, why would i accept engagements and go out? I felt unprepared and unqualified. But ohhhh, then i began wading an…
Wwwhhheeewww!🙌🏾🙌🏾This a truly blessed me. Resilience while wading towards Gods Purpose a plan for my life is the standard. Waiting season has long gone and the time is now to walk fully in the things that God has prepared for us. Thank you my GIRL, my sistHERS for this prospective and the challenge to move forward!
WOW!!! Karla an awesome word. This hit home for me, am I waiting or wading. I feel if I’m both because it’s time I feel like I’m waiting and other times I fell like am I wading. Doing the time I’m waiting it’s like I’m doubting my call and unsure of the anointing God has giving me. When I’m wading I have confidence that God has called me to do his will. I want to always be wading to be pleasing in Gods eyes!!!
