Thank you for sharing your story. So many times, I've hid and covered stuff trying to protect others, and inside, i was drowning. I've learned that what's hidden can't heal. Since I've been in school for theology, I've had to unlearn some things that i was taught as a child. I believe it's important for us to be open to learning and unlearning. I often mentor girls, and i am an open book. We're going to discuss everyday life, but we're also going to use the word of God as both our foundation and solution.
Thank you for sharing your testimony! What I get out of your message and the word is first and foremost get myself together as a mature woman and then teach the younger woman in a compassionate, loving, judgment free way all that God has done and will do as long as you keep focused on his word. God loves me and you abundantly despite the different roads traveled.
