There are days I would be in darkness because so much have been happening in my life and the ppl that’s connected to me. I want to be one of those whose light shines be fore men. There were days I wanted to give up and throw in the towel and there were days I have joy unspeakable joy. I know that God wants to use me just were I am to get his word out.
I have had some dark days, seen a lot a dark days and lived some dark days. From being molested, raped, beaten, cast to the side, mistreated, homeless, teenage pregnancy and unloved. I know it’s a God that shine bright in my life because through all of that I’m still here. I should have been die and gone, but God kept me. God has shined his light on me my entire life and he kept me here for a purpose in this dark world. I never gave up, I never quit and I never threw in the towel because I refused to give the enemy what he wanted. I know God gave me the strength and the hope to go…
Oh wow! I've been here more than I thought I ever would. I thank you for your vulnerability and transparency. I know if it blessed me its blessing others that reads this and dives in with intentionality.
Wow! What an incredible devotional. Thank you for trusting us with your transparency and vulnerablity. I know it will reap of harvest of healing and deliverance in our community. We need to know that some seasons are dark as midnight, but even in the midst, God is our keeper. He is our lighthouse, guiding us to safety in troubled water and stotmy seas.
My favorite verses during trying and dark seasons are Psalm 91; Psalm 46:10; Psalm 84:11; Matthew 6:27; Phililppians 4:8; Romans 8:28-31; Philippians; 4:6-7
